Proposal

The proposal can be used for all types of decisions in a Group/DAO. Add/remove members, split stakes and loot, distribute funds, and even interact with other apps and communities.

We support normal proposal, "TimeLocked" proposal, "Quorum" proposal.

Standard Proposal Type

These are the standard proposal types used in governance in most Groups/DAOs.

Give loot to the Group/DAO or request funding for internal projects and improvements Tokens Adding

Request to add support for new ERC20 tokens Trade

Request the Group/DAO to exchange one asset for another GroupKick Request to forcefully remove a malicious member by voting

Stage of proposal

1. Submit a proposal

Anyone, even non-members, can submit proposals to the DAO.

2. Sponsorship Proposal

Once a proposal is submitted, it will go to the Unsponsored Proposals section. This means that someone with a stake (probably you) must support the proposal in order for it to be moved to a vote.

Note: You can sponsor your own proposal, but it is recommended that you have another member sponsor it so they can ensure that you have filled out the proposal with the correct information and get the results you want.

Only members can "sponsor" the proposal and send it to the queue.

3. In the Queue

Once a proposal is initiated, it enters the queue. Queuing ensures that proposals are voted on in an orderly fashion. A proposal will enter the voting cycle from the queue within the timeframe specified by the DAO's caller.

4. Voting Period

Once in the voting period, members can vote on proposals. Every proposal has an "x" amount of time during the voting period in which it must receive more yes votes than no votes to pass.

5. Grace Period

The voting has ended, and whether the proposal is passed or not depends on the results of the voting during the voting period. Members who cast a negative vote and have no other pending positive votes can have their votes refunded within this period.

6. Prepare for Processing

Next, the proposal is sent to Processing, where votes are timestamped on the chain.

7. Complete

Once processed, the proposal is marked as complete and all stakes, funds, or outcomes are implemented as stated in the proposal. All results affecting your proposal can be viewed by clicking on the address (top right corner) and selecting View member profile.
