How do I buy crypto within the Base L2 account?

It’s easy to buy crypto with Ramp in the Base wallet. Just follow these steps:

  1. Open Base, tap ‘Recieve' → 'Buy crypto'. (Make sure you're on your Fox account by tapping the account switcher, the top left of the home screen).

  2. Choose the amount you’d like to buy and the asset

  3. Check your email address and accept Ramp’s Terms of Service

  4. Confirm your email address by entering the code

  5. Tap ‘Proceed’ (Step 1 of 3)

  6. Choose payment method (US users can only select a card) and ‘Proceed’

  7. Follow the steps for your payment method to complete the purchase

After your payment has been confirmed, you’ll receive an email confirmation of your transaction and your chosen crypto will arrive in your account in minutes. For your first purchase, you’ll need to register with Ramp.
